Does anyone have a recommendation for a small hotel near the city center of Montpellier, France?

We stayed one night the first week in Oct. in Montpellier. The hotel we stayed at was the Best Western Eurociel. It was not in the city center; was close to the train station. Our room was very nice, and we had our own patio. It was not far to walk to the city center. It was very convenient to walk with our luggage from the train station when we arrived.

If you would prefer a place that is more intrinsically French, have a look at Hôtel d'Aragon, close to the Place de la Comédie and the train station. I found a strong recommendation for it in a post somewhere on this forum, and have booked for several nights there in June next year. So I can't speak yet from personal experience but so far communication has been good, when I contacted them to add to my original booking.
