Side trip to Luxembourg

Our upcoming trip to France will also take us very near to Luxembourg (social obligation). Is there a chapter in any of Rick's books which will give me some information? I have hopes that there may be something in the France Book. We will be purchasing Rick's France book as soon as we can drive without ice on the road. Are there any other resources I need to see?

Thanks!

None of Rick's book currently include information about Luxembourg. Furthermore, other guidebook series often "hide" Luxembourg in their Belgium guides. So, check carefully before buying to avoid disappointment and returns.

I found the American Cemetery in Luxembourg very well done and quite moving. FYI- Patton is buried there. It can be fun to walk through the old town and see the Bock Casements. We spent two nights as we were also visiting friends. Some of the best croissants in Europe!! There are nice squares for sitting and eating as well as you can walk by the palace.

One challenge with Rick's books is that he picks a few places to focus on. It is probably the only way to proceed when there are so many wonderful places. He tends to focus on nearby Trier and ignore Luxembourg.

Thanks for the references.
I did not know about the cemetery yet but we will certainly look into that.
We will see Trier as that's where the friends are located. Some of our group is leaving from the Lux. airport and we will have a few more days, so we are still planning.
