Arriving late at Mont Saint-Michel

Hi there,

As part of our upcoming France trip in late June, we’re planning a short trip from Paris to Normandy and Loire valley. On our first day out of Paris, we’ll be driving from Versailles to Rouen in the evening. On the second day, we’ll drive from Honfleur to Mont Saint-Michel, where we’ll be staying overnight.

Also, I saw that sunset is around 9:30pm in June. Would there be any problem if we arrive at Mont Saint-Michel around or just after sunset (in terms of getting a shuttle from the parking lot, high tide etc.)?

Thanks so much!

The shuttle runs until midnight. As far as tides go, you'd have to check the tide charts for the exact day/evening you arrive. But unless it's super high tide when you arrive, where you may have to wait a bit; otherwise you'll be fine.

That sounded a little early for me. Using timeanddate.com, it appears that sunset will be at 10:00PM on June 1 and 10:12PM on June 30.
