Do shuttles run as early as 6 am? What shuttle company is reliable?

You might check with your hotel in Chamonix and see what they recommend.

Looks like both Swisstours & Alply don't start until an 8 am dept from Chamonix so I second asking your hotel

We used Chamonix Valley Transfers for a private transfer from Chamonix to Geneva. Their site says there is an extra charge for pickup before 5 am, so you should be good if you do a private transfer. It was worth it to us because we were four people. It looks like all the shared shuttle options start at 7am.
