Shuttle from Bayeux to Mont St-Michel

Hi everyone,

My friends and I will be staying in Bayeux and we are hoping to take a shuttle from there to Mont St-Michel. The Rick Steves France book recommends Hotel Churchill, but they request credit card information over email, which I am not necessarily comfortable with. Are there any other shuttles that anyone else has experience with, preferably one that you can reserve ahead of time and pay the day of?

Also, is the Hotel Churchill shuttle still up and running? If there are no other shuttle options, I would consider this one. My friends and I do not want to rent a car.

I happened to Google the Hotel Churchill shuttle recently because I wanted to mention it in an earlier thread. It appears it is still being offered, but it would be smart to email for verification, because outdated web pages definitely live on.

That's the only shuttle from Bayeux to Mont-Saint-Michel I've seen mentioned on this forum, and I read a lot of threads.

Folks who've been to MSM recently (I've never been there) have consistently reported that it is utterly mobbed by day trippers. Rick warns about this in his guidebook.

I am booked on the shuttle from my Hotel in late May. Then do have my credit card information from booking my room so that may be why they did not ask for it.

I am staying at Hotel le Bayeux.
