My husband and I are flying into CDG and need to get to Orly for a flight to Corsica. I’m not seeing any current, easy (as direct as possible) way to do this. Air France apparently does not do this anymore and Le Bus Direct may no longer be either? We do have plenty of time, but don’t want to be hauling luggage around train stations, etc. Thank you.
Without any bus option anymore, the only way by public transport is the RER B train from the airport to Antony, followed by the Orlyval shuttle. The connection in Antony is easy.
Two caveats:
- make sure the RER B is running on your day (look at RATP website)
- make sure (looking at the platform info screens) that your RER B train goes to Antony. Not all do.
Otherwise, metered taxi. 80-100€ depending on traffic.
The RER B was always the more reliable link as it can't get bogged down in crosstown travel -- it delivers you right to the OrlyVal at Antony.
And of course as noted above, make sure it is running.
No personal experience, but have seen positive comment here about it.
Fixed cost for up to 3 people is 96euro
Thank you to everyone!
We did this in September. RER B to Denfer Rochereau then Orlybus to the airport. We had enough time to have lunch in a brasserie in Denfer.
