Senior discount pass or code for 60+, and Riviera Pass info needed please

When booking train tickets I see there’s a place to put in a code for seniors 60 and older, and I don’t know how to obtain that code. I’m not sure if it’s a pass you purchase, or a discount that’s offered, but I’ve not been able to find anything on the SNCF app.

Also, I read about a Riviera pass and wonder if that is worthwhile, and also if there’s a senior discount?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

There is no free code for senior discounts; you have to buy a card for about 50Euro which is useful for locals but may not pay of for a tourist who makes a handful of tirps.

Thanks, Tocard and Janet. I’m not sure we’d get enough use out of that card for the cost of it.

Any ideas about the Riviera Pass?

The Riviera Pass does not give senior discounts.
I was curious about the pricing structure. 28 EUR for 24 hours, 40 EUR for 48 hours, 59 EUR for 72 hours. So the bump between 24 and 48 is 12 EUR, but the bump to 72 hours is 19 EUR.

Thanks, Sam. I think that pass may be worthwhile, even without a senior discount, for the things we hope to do in the region.

I was also hoping someone who had used it could offer their experience. We will have two parts of our trip in/near Nice. So I'm trying to strategize the usage. :-)
