Selecting a guide in Paris

Thank you all for previous help. Mr. Steve's books are great but nothing beats speaking to those with feet on the street. Plus Covid has affected trips yet to be addressed in any book.

This query is about Paris sites and guides. We found a site for selecting a guide as we do not want to jump on a tour bus with a lot of people. Tours by locals. We found a few guides with solid recommendations. Our itinerary currently is arriving from the US on Friday morning September 10th. We are staying at the Le Bristol.
If anyone had a great experience with a guide for small groups, please advise.

Our current thoughts are as follows:
Friday spend catching up with jet lag and touring Paris casually and having a nice dinner.
Saturday hire a guide to see the city. Walk or ride?
Sunday or Monday trip to Giverny/Versailles with guide
Sunday or Monday Louvre and other walk in sites in Paris
Tuesday Morning casual shopping. Head to train station for a 1:00pm trip to Lyon for Viking cruise to Avignon.

If you are staying at le Bristol, have you considered just contacting the concierge and having him make the arrangements?
