Seine River dinner cruise

Has anyone taken the Bateaux-Mouches early bird dinner cruise ? It says it leaves at 6 pm and returns at 7:15pm . We are going to be there the last week of October so it is sunset by 6 pm. We didn't want to be out very late due to an early morning excursion . Is an hour & 15 min long enough? Thank you!

Take a Bayeux Mouches river cruise but skip the dinner cruise as the dinners get poor reviews. Plus you want to concentrate on the scenery and landmarks not on eating.

Ok, actually we're not too concerned about the dinner food.. more interested in the sights. Do you think a cruise departing at 6 pm and returning at 7:15 pm is too short ? We didn't want a late night , but also read that the evening cruises are great with the lights .

I agree with above suggestion to take a river cruise but skip the meal. (I've done both.) I usually opt for a sunset cruise time with Vedettes (located at Pont Neuf) and the ride is usually about an hour or so and it is more than long enough. Check what time the sun sets on the day you wish to go, as well as what time the Eiffel begins its twinkling and choose a cruise time accordingly. :-) I have always enjoyed the evening/sunset cruises rather than daylight ones.

There's a snack bar right on the dock where you can purchase drinks/snacks to take aboard (or bring your own) if you wish.
