Is there a particular cruise line that people recommend in Paris?
Welcome to the forum, bruce.miller22. This is a common question, here is a search that has many ideas for you: https://search.ricksteves.com/?button=&filter=Travel+Forum&query=seine+cruise+Paris I personally liked Vedettes du Pont Neuf https://www.vedettesdupontneuf.com/home/
I personally liked Vedettes du Pont Neuf
Agree with CL. Have taken several evening cruises with them and have always had a good experience.
I booked mine on Viator. I looked for the ones with the most reviews/highest ratings.
Don't book with a third party -- book with the actual vendor. ALWAYS. The one that launches form Pont d'Alma, or the Eiffel Tower or below Pont Neuf all run the same course and are all just fine. You don't have to plan far ahead just choose the one convenient to you.
Thank you for the great advice. 👍
Viator is a third party booking agent. I suggest you book directly with the tour/cruise company.
Like the previous posters, I like Vedettes du Pont Neuf. Smaller boats with live commentary in both English and French.
I liked Canauxrama.
I took one that began in Canal St Martin, then went through the locks and tunnels to the Seine, along the Seine and back.
It was almost two and a half hours for about E 26.
Absolutely no need to use a third party vendor.
