Seine River Cruise

Which cruise do you recommend for our family of 11 adults and 2 young children to get the most out of hearing of the main attractions, history, etc - the day or night cruise?
Thanks!

We have always taken the daytime cruises, easier to see all the sights!

The narration provided on the cruises are the same whether you take a day or night cruise. I prefer the night cruise because they are timed to pass the Eiffel Tower when the lights are twinkling.

I am a fan of the night cruises and like Vedettes Pont Neuf because it is a live narration rather than a tiny recording -- but they are all pretty much the same. both can be interesting. If you are going to see the sparkling Eiffel Tower form Pont Alexandre or Trocadero at some point then a day trip might be interesting to see more of the city. CAn't really miss on this.

I also like the Vedettes du Pont Neuf, because of the live narration and the neighborhood where it docks. But there are other boat rides from near the Eiffel Tower, which might turn out to be more convenient to wherever you're staying.

With the kids I'd suggest a daytime cruise.
