I am booking ahead online for Seine River boat cruise, afternoon cruise, as there are 7 of us together.. How much time ahead of the cruise time do I need to be at the site ? Will I need to "budget" 15 min ahead of our reservation time or more?
Depends on whether you want to sit together or don't mind being split up a bit. The earlier you get there, the closer you are to the front of the boarding line. I think we were 20 to 30 minutes early and were close to the front.
If you already have purchased tickets, print them out and look for the Advance Ticket sign.
This varies from company to company , but you'll always see the sign, and should head directly to it.
I'd get there about 20 minutes of your boarding time - if you have one - so you can get a good seat.
This depends on time of year and time of day. I went about 9 pm the first weekend in October. The streets were packed because there was a big art festival. It was hard to navigate the crowd to get to the boat. The boat itself was a little over half full; you could have easily walked on at the last minute and found seats for 7 on top.
