I went to the website for Vedettes de Paris Pont Neuf and tried to buy tickets for a one hour cruise round trip cruise leaving from Pont Neuf. I was redirected to another website and told the only round trip cruises Vedettes had started and ended at the Eiffel Tower.
What website do I go to to get tickets for the round trip that leaves and returns to Pont Neuf? We will be in Paris in August 2020.

Are you sure you have the correct website? Try this link: https://www.vedettesdupontneuf.com/cruises/ If you can't figure it out you can purchase on-site right before the cruise (that is what we have done) in my experience they usually have space. This will also let you take the cruise whenever you like instead of a fixed time.

I too just walked up and bought tickets around sunset in late April, they seem to have boats departing frequently.

The Vedettes du Pont Neuf depart from and arrive at Pont Neuf, not the Eiffel Tower. If you purchase tickets from their webiste, you will save 4€ per ticket.

I have purchased tickets on line at the dock using my smartphone.
It is the Bateaux Mouches which depart from the Eiffel Tower. I prefer Bedettes du Pont Neuf.

I've never needed tickets in advance (but I've only been in Paris during May, June, September and October). I do go online and buy my tickets as I'm heading to the boats because you save a couple euros buying "in advance" and it doesn't have to be well in advance.

It has been about ten years since we did this cruise. Just walked up and got tickets on the Vedettes river cruise. I will add that if you do this by not planning ahead you will cruise for an hour in the sun--plan ahead for sunscreen, cap, visor, etc.
