RS Tour Loire to South of France

I’ll be on the first tour beginning May 4. I’m looking for dinner suggestions for
Chartres, Chinon, Sarlat, Carcassonne, Arles and Nice. My budget is flexible as I’ll eat small lunch & splurge on dinner or vice versa.

Also, any tips and suggestions from people who have taken this tour are appreciated. We have a free day in Sarlat on market day.
I like art galleries, outdoor activities and taking walks. I'm not a big shopper but do enjoy food shops/shopping and places to
buy gifts like books, trivets, bowls, things that can used back at home.

I start in Paris for 3 nights and then train to Chartres on Sunday to meet the tour.

Diane - We have not done this tour but did the best of France RS tour in 2005 which included these cities. I can't recommend any restaurants as it was too long ago but your guide will give you many suggestions. Of course, half of your dinners or lunches will be included and they have always been very good. Like you we always have a good breakfast which is included and either a big dinner or lunch. Not all three. We had a great time wandering around the market in Sarlat where we bought food for a picnic with the rest of group. I know you will have a wonderful time.

places they truly enjoyed good food and service.
