I have a timeshare option next May at the Royal Regency apartments at Vincennes France. Has anyone stayed there? I don’t really trust TripAdvisor.

If no one on RS has stayed there, look at booking.com reviews (I trust those).
You may have to use a translation tool for reviews which aren't in English.

I can only comment on the location: 15-minute walk from the end of the metro line is not terribly convenient. But Vincennes itself is charming and if the price is right and you're ok with commuting to sights, I guess you can go for it.

We also had the option of staying there on our first trip to France. I didn't even consider it! I wanted to be closer to the main sightseeing areas, and not waste too much time traveling. Also, it's much easier to choose your dates with a hotel. Although I will say being in a local area has its charms. Our preferred area is the Marais, although there are many wonderful areas to stay in in Paris!
