I am taking a road trip from Avignon to Tours on May 15 (holiday weekend in France) Would like suggestions for a route that combines some scenery with speed. Would like to spend the night in Montpeyroux (outside of Clermont Ferrand) or close by. Any suggestions for a route and for places to stay in the area?? Restaurants for dinner?? Many thanks!
