Is there an easy/direct way to go from Rouen to Charles de Gaulle airport? I would like to spend 2 or 3 nights there before catching a plane back to San Francisco. Is this doable?

Not sure what options you searched already but you could drive there or take the train. The train requires a change in Paris.
There is one direct bus Rouen to CDG a day operated by Flixbus. You can look up the schedule to see if that works.

And if you are thinking of leaving Rouen to catch your flight the same day it is better to go and stay at one the hotels at the airport the night before the flight.

Thanks, jazz + travels. I followed your link and, indeed there is the bus to Charles de Gaulle. Seems to only run on weekends but that might work. I agree that staying at CDG for flight the next day would be best. We stayed at the ibis CDG last month and found it very helpful to be there in advance
