Room Size Hotel des Marronniers in Paris

Hi,

I have a flexible reservation at Hotel des Marronniers for a superior garden room. The website shows the room size as 12 square meters which is about 129 sf. Many comments mention this being quite small. Has anyone had any experience staying this this size room at this hotel? I will be traveling with my wife and we're both in our mid-60s. Also, is a double bed typically a single mattress or two twins pushed together?

I usually shoot for 16 m2 or larger. 12 m2 would be pretty small and, personally, I would avoid it. Not familiar with that particular hotel.

A double is typically one mattress. Two singles pushed together would be closer to what in the U.S. is called a king sized mattress.

The room may be a little tight, but it looks absolutey lovely! And the location is wonderful.

I think I'll have to pass on this one even though the hotel and location look great. I just can't get over the small room size.

A lot of Paris hotel rooms are very small, due to the older buildings.
