Rome to beauvais. How convenient is it to get to main Paris from beauvais

I'm a girl traveling alone, and right now I'm looking at a flight option from ciampino,Rome(at 18:30hrs) to beauvais, Paris( at 20:40hrs) on the 5th September... do you think it'll be safe to travel alone from beauvais to the main city of Paris at night?? And also how convenient is it to get to the main centre from beauvais.. which mode of transport would be better? And what about ORLY airport? Is it closer to the centre than beauvais?

It will be safe but will probably not be convenient. Other than a taxi for 80 to 100€ (or maybe more), there are two ways to get from Beauvais that I know of: the coordinated shuttle bus (https://www.aeroportparisbeauvais.com/acces-et-parking/navette/) that runs from the airport to the western edge of Paris or taking a taxi or shuttle to the train station in town and taking a local train to Gare du Nord. IMO, the shuttle is better but you would arrive at Porte Maillot at around 22:00 and unless you are staying nearby have to figure out how to get to your accommodations by mass transit or taxi. Better IMO to fly into Orly and grab a taxi for 30€ or 35€ directly to your accommodations.

Beauvais is a pain and Orly would be better BUT if you have booked Ryanair it has a shuttle that meets each flight and it is relatively straightforward to come into the edge of Paris and then take the metro to wherever you need to be. The metro is still running till after midnight. Safety is not an issue. But this is really inconvenient and especially as a woman traveling alone I would take a flight to Orly and then a cab to my destination. Cabs from Orly are 30 or 35 depending on the side of the river. Make life easy on yourself especially late at night.

Hi,

You can get to Paris from Beauvais direct. The train ends at Gare du Nord in Paris. Beauvais is about half way between Paris and Amiens. I went to Beauvais from Paris as a day trip a few years ago.

Look at the transfer info at the airport site or ryanair. Since you call yourself a girl, you sound like an youthful able bodied traveler;so maybe it will not seem like a hassle to you to get to Paris from Beauvais.

Take it from an academic librarian: You can save time by Googling the official site for info on everything you just asked.
