I am confused about where to get off of the cdval from terminal 1 to TGV station

First off, it's CDGVAL, just so there's no confusion.
The train station is in Terminal 2, and there is just one stop on the CDGVAL
at Terminal 2, so from T1, take the people mover train to the end of the line
and you will be where you need to be.

I wanted to mention that on the CDGVal, you will reach Terminal 3 before you reach Terminal 2. Not a problem if you follow the advice above and get off at the last stop but I know people who saw the Terminal 3 sign and assumed that they had made a mistake.
