Is it advisable to drive from Rouen to Honfleur at night (after dark)?

Hello irene, welcome to the newsboard.
This trip is mostly on an autoroute. Why wouldn't you want to drive one hour in darkness? My wife has had cataract surgery, but we both still drive in darkness. I would only worry about reading street signs and finding a paid parking garage upon arrival. But if you are using GPS or your phone, you don't have to read the signs very much. Does your hotel have a parking arrangement?

Your GPS might tell you to leave the A13 motorway at junction 27 - Pont Audemer, but it will be easier to keep going towards the A29, and take the A29 to junction 3. That way, you stay on the motorway until you are 5 minutes away from Honfleur.
