River Cruise on the Seine

Hi,
Looking for advice on the best river cruise on the seine. Would prefer it to be in the evening, can offer dinner but would prefer it to be worth my time to miss a nice dinner at a restaurant in Paris. Else, is there anything is the early evening that is for 1-2 hours and then we can grab dinner?

Thank you!!

We usually take a non-dinner cruise on Vedettes du Pont Neuf (we stay in Marais or Latin Quarter) and then dine separately in a restaurant of our choice -- boats leave frequently, if the one at the dock is full you just wait for the next one. You can buy a ticket online for a small discount.

Agree with the above. Do the Pont Neuf cruise and have an excellent dinner in an actual restaurant.

I've been looking into this as well as was comparing Vedettes du Pont Neuf to Batobus. Batobus appears to be a bit more expensive but comes with On/Off privileges. Does anyone have experience with it?

Laura B. and Emily make very good points. We also prefer to dine separately so our focus isn't divided between eating and lookin. Having taken cruises with several companies, we much prefer Vedettes du Pont Neuf. The evening cruise when the city is all lit up is really great -- gives new meaning to "The City of Lights".
