Reviews of Paris hotels - Hotel Maison Chomel and Hotel Relais Medicis

Any comments or reviews (pro and con) of recent stays at these hotels would be greatly appreciated. Looking to stay there for week in mid September. Also any restaurant recommendations in the area would be great. Thx, Jim S., Chicago

A few years ago, I stayed at Hotel Signature Saint Germain (a hotel that I think is one of the best that I have ever stayed in). The SIgnature Saint Germain is on the same block Maison Chomel and the area is excellent, -- very convenient, near Le Bon Marche, near a metro station with two lines, and not quite as touristic as Saint Germain but really lovely. I have never stayed at the Chomel but I did walk through while in the area and it is a very nice property. After I got back, a friend introduced me to a person who is a destination expert for Paris on TripAdvisor and when I mentioned I had stayed on Rue Chomel, the destination expert told me that I chose a good place but that his favorite hotel in Paris is the Chomel. For restaurants nearby, I suggest Le Petite Chaise and Le Botaniste which is right between the Chomel and the Signature Saint Germain.

What is the address of Hotel Relais Medicis?

Oh my goodness, I did not know that Maison Chomel had been acquired by the family that owns the Signature Saint Germain. That is great news. That family knows how to run a hotel.

Is it too late to ask how you liked Mason Chomel? My candidates are Mason Chomel and Relais St. Sulpice. The latter is a bit in a better location? Thank you
