Reuse of PARIS PASS?

For example, can you use your paris pass for 2 trips on seine river cruise during the 3 or 5 day period? Both day and night trips sound like fun. Also for return trips to museums, etc?
We tend to be good for only a couple of hours at a time.
Return trips to museums would be great.

The Paris Pass is not a deal and it is not even a pass bit a collection of vouchers and passes. It includes a Museum Pass and that allows you unlimited visits to included museums and sites, and yes you can return visit any of them within the timeframe of the passes validity.
For the Paris Pass
I believe it includes a voucher for a cruise , not unlimited rides, so no reusing it.
Cruises are only 11-14 euros though.

I think you should do the math as I think you will see how overpraised th e PP is as opposed to buying a Museum pass and a few separate items.

To add to Pat's reply: there is a Paris Pass, a Paris Visite Pass, and a Paris Museum Pass. Yes, it is confusing.

The Museum Pass can be a very good deal, if you're seeing enough covered places during its period of validity (2, 4, or 6 consecutive days). It's particularly good if you want to go back to a place multiple times, to break up your visits to larger museums into small chunks (or, in my case, to go up the Arc de Triomphe by day and by night).

The Paris Visite Pass is for transportation and a few small discounts. However, it covers 3 or 5 zones, while almost everything you want to see is in zones 1 and 2. That's why it costs more than it should. So, just use regular Metro tickets for the city itself, and for those few things outside zones 1 and 2 (mainly the airports, Paris Disneyland, and Versailles), buy separate round trip tickets for these.

The Paris Pass is a ripoff. It dangles loads of covered attractions in exchange for its high price, but how many things can you do in a day? As Pat said, many of the things are not expensive a la carte, so the pass is a waste.

You're on the right track with the advice above.

There is no such thing as a Paris Pass if by that you mean a single pass that does many different things. This is a marketing scheme which simply throw exiting passes like the overpriced Paris Visite transport pass and a Museum Pass into an envelope with vouchers for several other activities. You are always better off buying what you want to do separately -- and to use anything but the Visite for transport.
