I couldn't get a definite reservation at Jules Verne (I know it's a tourist trap, but...) So I am looking for recommendations for a restaurant that some of you may have been to with a great view and food. Thank you in advance!!!
Les Ombres on the roof of the musée du quai Branley (ethnographic museum).
The view of the Eiffel Tower and Seine is stunning, especially at night. I've never eaten at the restaurant, but have been on this rooftop at night to watch films sponsored by the museum (in summer).
The food is supposed to be excellent. It's very pricey though and in high demand so reservations might also be tricky there.
We had lunch at Les Ombres. Food was good, the view is unusual. The focus is on the lower levels of the ET - you get a real sense of how massive the ET is. The restaurant is attached to a huge outdoor terrace - from there you can see the entire tower. Our visit was four years ago - the food was expensive but not exorbitant like it is at Jules Verne.
Le Terrass' hotel in Montmartre has a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower, and a great menu. We stayed there for one night as our splurge, and I am going back in April. Our dinner view was great because it was all lit up, and breakfast was wonderful, because the windows are large and even if you are not right at the window, you get a great view. They also have a rooftop bar.
