We enjoyed a nice meal at Rick's recommended La Maison de Marie. Well priced three-course menu in a pretty courtyard that is tucked away off the busy Rue Massena.

Rather than reserving ahead, you could wander the Vieux Nice area to check out a variety of options. It's easier to get a table early; some restaurants open for dinner at 7 p.m and some are open all day.
