Recommendations for restaurants in Dijon
Really enjoyed Caveau de Saulx, though it’s more blind wine tasting than food. Yet we also had more than enough really nice food, too.

LATE NOTE. The charcuterie boards were absolutely amazing. We had one meat heavy, the other cheese and crudite heavy. A feast.
Thank you for the recommendation. It sounds like a wine cellar w very nice sandwiches and charcuterie.
When we lived in Bourgogne we'd often hit a McDonalds for lunch while shopping -- there's a Five Guys there too.
But assuming that's not what you're seeking, perhaps the Michelin Guide's suggestions might interest you.
Great idea about Michelin guide. Thx!
On our recent trip, we actually did go to a McDonald's. For 25 E, we got a loaded fries and 2 sandwiches. They were not impressive. The cheese was not melted. The hamburger, although fresh, was barely hot. And, as is so typical in French restaurants, getting condiments (ketchup) took a major plea from us. Condiments in France are guarded closely for some reason.
Not a positive experience. We went so you do not need to go.
