Since no one else has offered anything I'll add another suggestion: if you're unfamiliar with it the website Gault&Millau is useful for ferreting out better restaurants in a location you may be visiting. They gravitate toward the high end, but include some mid-priced places as well. They recommend five restaurants in Dieppe (there's a sixth listed but it's in Rouen and has "Dieppe" in the restaurant name).

With a little Internet sleuthing, you probably would be able to determine if the prices are in your preferred range.

Funnily enough we were in Rouen in March and looked at the Cafe Victor as an option. Of the Dieppe choices I know A La Marmite but the others are new to me. I’ll enjoy investigating.

Right on the beach, I really enjoyed l'O2Mer during a weekend stay in Dieppe in 2021.
Otherwise, I don't remember being blown away by food options in Dieppe. Same in nearby Fécamp...
