What part of the 12th? It's relatively big. I like À la Biche au Bois on Avenue Ledru Rollin, L'Europeen across from Gare de Lyon, Amarante on Rue Biscornet near the opera house, and Le Baron Rouge near Marche Aligre for wine and oysters.
