We ending our day in this area before returning to our apartment. Does anyone have a reasonably priced restaurant recommendation besides in the tower itself? Thanks Todd

Les Cocottes de Christian Constant (135 Rue Saint-Dominique - 7th – near Eiffel Tower) - no reservations, short wait but worth it/fabulous chocolate tart (to die for) [Le violon d’Ingres – same street, same chef, lunch Mon-Fri – fancier place]
Haven't yet been there myself but it's on David Lebovitz's list and was also recommended to me by a friend. I think it's also in Rick's book on Paris.

Our favorite restaurant in that area is Le P'tit Troquet, Small and quaint like you imagine a Parisian restaurant to be. Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Only about 10 tables so reservations are needed. Café Constant was excellent as well without the atmosphere.
