My husband and I will be staying at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile for three nights in early November (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday). We will travel around Paris during the day, but will want to be back in our neighborhood in the evening. We are looking for cozy bistros. If they serve cassoulet, that would be perfect. Can you suggest anything?
A new and tasty steak frites restaurant is right nearby Restaurant Mayane: Atelier de l'entrecôte et volaille.
Many dishes are served with a refill (chicken or steak in a delicious sauce and crispy fries. Get a profiterole for dessert.
On the Passage Geoffrey Didelot, not far from the rue de Levis market street is Le Bistrot du Passage. Reliably good food at reasonable prices.
Alexander and Happy to be here,
Thank you for your recommendations. They both sound good.

Hi Jane!
We always stay at that hotel when we are in Paris (I work for Hyatt) and will be there again next month!
I have no cafe recommendations, but if you want an incredible fresh baguette tradition, I highly recommend Maison Julien Les Saveurs de Pierre Demours. It's about a ten minute walk from the Hyatt and won best baguette in Paris in 2020!
We also frequent a great mall that is about a mile north of the Hyatt: So Ouest. Terrific option for any basic shopping needs, and it also has a huge E.Leclerc supermarche.
AbbyO,
Thanks for the suggestions. It’s good to know that we can get a good baguette and visit a supermarché in our neighborhood.
