Restaurant Recommendations in Colmar

I dined at the restaurant Bistrot des Copains. I was very satisfied and experienced excellent service from my waitress.
It is located next to the cathedral.

I enjoyed a fine meal at Le Maison Rouge in Colmar and would certainly recommend it. It's a bit pricey so budget accordingly.

In the center of the city you might want to try Winstub Schwendi. Very good food, not too expensive, and great beer and wine.

We ate at the Pfeffel, right next to the Tourist Office and across from the Unterlinden

Another vote for Le Maison Rouge! Cozy Alsatian style perfect for winter! When you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted by a big pork roast sizzling over the flames of a large open fire rotisserie.

For a casual dinner Schwendi is fun--large portions so most items could be shared--Rosti was a big serving. We loved Marechal for fine dining. It is connected to the hotel by same name and you should reserve ahead. Some tables overlook the river. We loved Colmar but be sure to visit Strasbourg to see the magnificent cathedral.
