Will be in Antibes 5 nights, the others 2 each. Again, we like smaller local places...not too fancy or too expensive.
In Beaune we enjoyed several dinners at Brasserie le Carnot, at 18 Rue Carnot just north of the center of town. Pleasant surroundings on a pedestrian street, good food, reasonable prices, friendly people. Plenty of tourists but also locals.
For restaurant recommendations in 4 towns, probably more efficient to see what the recommendations of the experts are at www.viamichelin.com.
Very easy to use and they have been rating French restaurants for over a hundred years.
We had a delightful meal in RS recommended La Marmite in Antibes.
I ate at Restaurant Pfeffel in Colmar. Right in the center of the old town, nice atmosphere, and very good German food.
Sara,
I had an excellent meal at Le Maison Rouge in Colmar, although it wasn't cheap. It was recommended by the hotel, and I wasn't disappointed.
