Ha Ha I just posted this question on the Italy site. Getting a little cookoo with planning so please forgive. Just want to go to a simple, non-touristy restaurant near our hotel in the Montparnasse area of left bank. We can walk so any suggestions for good food at good price would be appreciated. Also, any suggestions for a few hours of fun before dinner in same area? Thanks.
If you like oysters, try this place. Other side of the Tour Montparnasse from your hotel.
La Cabane à Huîtres, 4 Rue Antoine Bourdelle, Paris, France
You're not far from Creperie Josselin, highly recommended. Take a look at the Yelp-Montparnasse link here for more ideas; you can filter results for price, lunch, dinner, etc. Also, Paris By Mouth has a by-arrondissement list that's great-I notice that the original La Regalade is there.
As for something fun, well, there is the rather famous Montparnasse Cemetery nearby, many luminaries hanging out there. And..the Puces de Vanves, the flea market, on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

there are a few other creperies on that same street as the one mentioned, that are worth going to, if Josselin is crowded. The Montparnasse Tower has an uncrowded observation deck not he 56th floor that gives you a great view of the city in all directions.
Thank you Dave. Great information on Yelp. Also Stan and Sam, thanks for your thoughts.
