If memory serves, last time we were in Paris we heard about a restaurant located in the catacombs in Paris. Is there such a thing? I've searched online and can't find anything. Thanks in advance.

A few years ago an advertising or event agency organized dinners in the catacombs for its customers. I don't know if they had the necessary permissions.
But there's no restaurant in the catacombs, unless your necrophiliac streak elicits bone cravings. :))

Really wanted to have taken in the musical concert held in one of the many chambers in the Catacombes de Paris during summer of 2018, mais non, was not to be. Would have enjoyed the acoustics and atmosphere equally. Having a meal while 20 meters below ground, not so much. :-)

I was in the catacombs in 2008. In many places there was liquid dripping from the ceiling. Was it water or was it leaky pipes from buildings above? I wouldn't eat down there if I was starving!

There was a food event a few years ago, but the catacombs is no place to enjoy dining.
