I am looking into a restaurant in the Trocadero area with a good view of the Eiffel Tower where our family of 5 people can spend our last night before leaving Paris. We will be on a budget, so the pricy restaurants are going to be out of our range. I did see Café du Trocadero as a possibility. Does anyone have any feedback about this restaurant, or any other restaurant nearby? Our main requirement is the view of the Tower, as one of my grandchildren is obsessed with this awesome monument. Would you be willing to consider lunch instead of dinner? If so, I think Les Ombres for lunch would cost about the same as other places for dinner. It has a huge view deck and the ET is very close. The food is good and also artfully arranged on the plate. I think a grandchild would be very impressed with a meal there. You would need reservations.
