Does anyone know of a decent restaurant near the American Embassy in Paris? Looking for something not expensive, not fancy - just basic French or other cuisine. thanks.

There are 2 restaurants at the Hotel de la Marine which is across the street from the Embassy property. I've not eaten at either one.

I enjoy the Cafe des Marrioniers in the Tuileries if it's a nice day. The food is good (I am not a foodie) and the venue is so pleasant under the trees.
