RER to Disneyland Paris

A friend is travelling on Eurostar from London to Disneyland in April.

She's already gone to the expense of staying in a 'Moon' [PI] hotel at St Pancras the night before, to mitigate against the now postponed UK rail strikes, in spite of only living in South London!, to avoid any issues at the start of the trip.

Both she and I are very level headed over the French strikes. But if Eurostar cancel the Disneyland train in due course due to the strikes and she is re-routed into Paris Nord, has RER Line A been running a decent service on strike days so far, please? I see from other posts that RER Line B has been running a decent service. It is just Line A I am asking about to give a bit of reassurance to her, ease the stress factor.

I didn't think I'd be on the other side of this forum!

Thanks

I was under the assumption that the Eurostar service to Marne-la-Vallée had already ceased.

Strikes can curtail rail service, but not eliminate all service. The RER A should continue to operate, but from Gare du Nord, you must first take the RER B to Châtelet (one stop), then transfer (walk across the platform) to the RER B for Marne-la-Vallée. Tickets are 5€. Be careful not to board the RER A to St Legere which departs from the same platform as trains to Marne-la-Vallée. Train destinations are clearly indicated by monitors on the quai.

Thanks.

The direct ends in early June. When this trip was first floated to me my first reaction was that it had stopped, and I first said change at Lille Europe into a TGV (before all the present actions started).
