RER B timing

Hi all,

My accommodation is near Lozère RER B station. I will be arriving at CDG Airport around 10 PM on 3rd April and leaving on 8th April from Gare du Nord for Amsterdam. My train is at 10:48 AM.

On 3rd April, is travelling by RER B to my accommodation a good option? Until what time at night are these trains available?

On the morning of 8th April, from what time will the RER B trains be available?

Thank you

The last train from CDG is about 10:45 or thereabouts. If you are flying from another European city and have carry on baggage and it is on time, you might make it. If you are coming from the US or Canada or similar, and have to go through immigration or if you have checked luggage you probably won't. Trains start running really early so you are probably good on the 8th. You can check specific destinations and routes and trains on RATP.fr. just plug in your departure station and destination and you can see how long it will take and if it is available.

Since you are not in Paris a cab ride will be on the meter and that is a pretty long ride.

The cab ride will be very expensive because it's outside the Paris boundary, very far outside, and it will be a night fare. You may do better with a driver service to meet you or Uber or Bolt.

Edit: Even if you could make the last RER B, you need to be careful that it’s one going to Lozère. The RER B divides into two lines, and only one goes to Lozère.

Add the Citymapper app to your phone to help with transportation logistics.

If you miss the last RER B, Citymapper estimates a taxi to be about €75+. With a combination of night buses and metro you would have a 2 hour plus journey arriving after 2 am, but you're fare would only be €4.60.

RER B departs from Lozere at 9:53 arriving Gare du Nord at 10:23. There are trains starting early morning.
