RER at Musee D'Orsay

Hello,
Does anyone know where the entrance to the RER station is at the Musee D'Orsay ? I've been looking on Google Street Maps and there is a large entrance at the front of the Museum on Quai Anatole, but the photo from August 2017 appears to have a gate closing the entrance. There also appears to be a station across the street on the Seine, with an escalator. I am going in April and like to be comfortable knowing exactly where to enter.

Thanks !

Now ---- that is advance planning. And this may not be real helpful. The entrances are all well marked with the metro sign. Second, generally there are multi-entrances, often on both sides of the street and sometimes entrances on all four corners of the street. It just depends on the size of the street. Pay attention to the signs going in to make sure that entrances services the subway you want. You should always know the end station for your subway line that way you get on going in the correct direction.

Yes, the escalators head down to the RER C, you can see the RER C sign in front of them. As for the museum side of the street, maybe work is being accomplished at that entrance, but it does sort of look like its a permanent fixture. Also, it appears there is an elevator down to the RER C level as well.
Enjoy your trip, I will be there May/June 2019.

There is only one RER station at Musee d'Orsay. Don't worry, you will find it, it's on the Left Bank of the Seine. There is an escalator.
It's probable the work will be finished by the time you get there.
