I am looking to stay in the south of France by the beach for 4 nights in May. Any thoughts would be of great help!

I just rented an apartment in Nice from Homeaway, the UK site, which was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Nice part of the year and has used them for some time. They are associated with VRBO rental site, which I have use a lot to rent apartments in France and other parts of Europe, and always have been very satisfied.

A friend sent me a link of the agency she rented with, when she was on holiday here, last September. Apparently they have a large portfolio of all sorts of apartments in the South of France! You might want to check out http://www.sunlightproperties.com
