TYIA for any pointers:
We are a family of 4 with 2 younger kids traveling June 2023.
We'll finish our time in Paris at Disneyland and want to visit Giverny the next morning, then on to MSM for a late-afternoon arrival.
We'll have two days at Disney so we can afford to take the second day light and leave the park around 16:00.
Option 1: I was originally planning on renting a car near Disney/Chessy and driving from the east side of Paris to a hotel near Giverny, BUT at evening rush hour, Google estimates the 90 min drive increases to 180+ min. I'm imagining sitting in traffic with two little ones on a post-Disney crash.
Option 2: It looks like an RER voyage from Chessy to the western-most stop (Poissy, Saint-Germain-En-Laye) is about 90 min. We'd stay at the most convenient hotel near the RER terminal. Then the next morning we'd get the rental car and drive to Giverny (another 45 min). Then on to MSM (another 3-4h from Giverny).
I'm leaning towards option 2; what do you think? Thank you!
