Rental car near CDG morning after arrival

My wife and I will be arriving into CDG at 9:05 pm on May 22nd (Friday). We are dealing with some mobility issues and plan to stay near the airport that first night after a lot of travel time coming from the Seattle area. Planning to get up early to pick up a rental car before driving towards Normandy with a stop at Giverny and other points along the way before ending up at a VRBO near Caen for several days. Returning the car in Caen before traveling via train on to Avignon. (We had thought of driving to Avignon but that plan was eating up a lot of our itinerary so we've discarded that idea.)

Looking for advice on those first 24 hours.

Is there a good hotel near a car rental location where I can ideally go get the car in the morning and return to the hotel to pick up my wife and luggage? We're not traveling lightly and it's much easier if I can get the car by myself and return to the hotel for my wife vs. both of us and the luggage all traveling to the car rental place. Might not be quicker, but will definitely be easier.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks!

There are several hotels at the airport. The list is here: https://www.parisaeroport.fr/en/passengers/at-the-airport/hotels/cdg. Depending on which terminal you arrive in and which hotel you choose, you could have minimal walking with luggage to get to your hotel. For example if you fly on Air France and land at Terminal 2 and have mobility issues, you could stay at the Sheraton which will require the least amount of transit to get to the hotel but I do not think it is super convenient for you to get back to from the car rental. But maybe someone who has driven to the hotel could tell you. I suggest taking the CDGVAL to Terminal 3 - Roissypôle to the Hilton or the Radisson, both of which I know have areas where you will be able to pull up your rental car. The other hotels at Roissypole may have similar areas but I do not recall for sure. You could leave your wife waiting in the lobby with the luggage and then come back and pick her up after you get the rental car. It's about a 5- to 10-minute walk from the CDGVAL stop to the hotels.
How are going to get your luggage on and off the train for your trip from Caen to Avignon?

Thanks for the helpful info JHK!

I forgot to mention we're coming in from Dublin on Aer Lingus. Not sure which terminal that will put as at but I can research that and figure it out.

We took a trip to France in 2022 and discovered they have a great service for passengers with mobility issues on the trains. We sent our itinerary ahead of time along with some required paperwork and they set everything up for us. When we got to each station we went to their accessibility office and a person would bring a wheelchair, take us to our train, and help us load everything onto the train. Same service was provided at intermediate stations where we had to switch trains and again at the final destination. Absolutely amazing service provided by everyone who helped us on that trip.
