We are returning a rental car in Rennes in June of this year. We need to catch the train back to Paris. Right now on the SNCF website when I search for train tickets on June 24th, it only gives me early morning departure times from Rennes to Gare Du Nord ( other Paris stations are the same). I am a bit confused because I thought there were several trains that leave Rennes all throughout the day. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thank you!

TGV's from Rennes to Paris go to Gare Montparnasse. DB site is showing trains every hour in the morning and late afternoon and every 2 hours late morning to early afternoon. They may be too early to book.
There are no trains to Gare du Nord except by tortuous and time consuming connections.
PS. On the SNCF site, I am seeing a lot of trains, none of them bookable at this time.

Rennes to Paris train arrives at Montparnasse, not Gare du Nord. We did that last spring only in reverse; car rental and all.
Are you using the SNCF website or app? It does say more trains will be on the schedule soon. I think you may just be early.
Someone else was asking a similar question; but not for Rennes; so I think the best suggestion is to keep checking.

I just put your date into the SNCF website (https://www.sncf-connect.com/) and saw several trains from Rennes to Paris a few go into Gare d'Austerlitz and rest go into Gare Montparnasse). They are, of course, not bookable yet but one can sign up to be notified when they are open for booking.

The tickets for June have not been put on sale yet. You need to wait a little bit. Tickets up to June 12 will go on sale February 12.
