Reims to CDG train

We are staying overnight in Reims on October 9 and plan to take the train to Charles de Gaulle airport for an 11 a.m. return flight to Toronto. There's a direct train at 8:37 from Champagne-Ardenne station that arrives at 9:09 which would be perfect, but can anyone advise how to arrange to get to Champagne-Ardenne station?

Thanks!

There's a bus, and also a local TER train from the main station in Reims.

I agree that doing this for an 11 AM flight is very risky. I'd do it for an afternoon flight though.

This is really not a good idea for an international flight from CDG. You should be at CDG a minimum of three hours before departure time and it could be four given the thread linked to above unless you are traveling business class or otherwise have access to the expedited passport control lines.

Perfect? No, a serious mistake.

Hopefully by now, you have a new plan to arrive at CDG 3-4 hour before for your 11am flight, not 1 hour 51 minutes assuming that train were even on time.

The first train of the day is one hour earlier, arriving to the airport at 8:00. You may still find the timing stressful. It's also possible that French rail strikes could start back up in the fall.
