I am wondering if anyone has taken a train from Reims to Charles de Gaulle airport? Does the train station connect directly with the airport or does one have to take a shuttle or tram? Wondering....how much extra time will we need upon arrival by train to check in, go through security and get to our gate? Thank you.
Generally, the train from Reims to CDG runs through the Champagne-Ardenne. Trains from Reims go to Gare de L’Est in Paris. The train from Champagne-Ardenne stops at the airport. The train stops at Terminal 2 and so does the train that you would take from Paris to CDG. I would arrive three hours before my flight’s scheduled departure time if my flight is an international one with passport control. Add a few minutes if you are leaving from Terminal 1.
TGV from Reims goes to Gare de l'Est.
