I’m looking for a recommendation for a nice, moderate priced hotel for 3 adults. Breakfast included. We’re going for the Christmas Markets November 2024. We’re only spending 1 night before we take the train to Strasbourg. I don’t know if it would be better to stay near the markets or the train station? Any recommendations would be welcomed! TIA

We stayed in the Hotel Continental some years ago and liked it. Across a park from the station and a short walk from the cathedral. Don't know where they have the Christmas markets but it can't be far. With luggage, you'd probably want to be reasonably close to the station so you don't have to take it far.

The Holiday Inn was near the train station and very clean and comfortable with a good breakfast and an excellent rooftop restaurant.
