Reims/ Epernay hotel

I know what Rick has in his books about hotels in Reims/Epernany... looking for anyone else with experiences and places to stay. I am looking for like 3/4 star type places.

If it matters, I will be parking my rental car at the hotel in town.

Why not just use one of the usual booking sites? Do you really think Rick, or anyone else, has tried all of the options?
