Reims Cathedral--best spot to sit and watch the Sound and Light show

My husband and I will be in Reims on a Saturday and Sunday in May, so we will have a chance to see the Sound and Light Show at the Cathedral. My husband can't easily stand for a long period of time, and I am looking for a suggestion for a cafe, or somewhere to have a seat and watch the show. Thanks for any help you can give me.

The Hotel Holiday Inn Reims Centre has a rooftop cafe and restaurant to see the light show.

As I recall, there is a short stone wall on the left as you face the cathedral. Get there early enough to get a seat.

Thanks so much for both of these suggestions. The one we take may depend on the weather. It's so nice to have options.

I would also bring a sweater or jacket for the light show as it can get chilly there at night.

Hi Darby, the light show stands out in my mind as one of the best things I’ve ever seen on a vacation. Very well done. As I recall it lasted about 30 minutes. Have fun!

Is the Sound and Light Show held on week nights also? Will be in Reims on a Wednesday evening in May.

According to the RS France book, it's Friday thru Sunday in May, June and September.
