We will be staying at Charles De Gaullist airport for 3 days and taking the regional train into the city daily. Is there any type of discount card to offset daily round trip tickets for two for the 3 days. Or other means of transportation.

You could buy 1-day Navigo Travel Pass Zones 1-5 for 20.60 EUR. Since the one-way fare from CDG to Paris is 11.80 EUR, you will save 3 EUR per day, plus you will have it for transport in Paris for the entire day.

I would really encourage you to find a Hotel in town for that long. The trip in is not short, not cheap, and will cut into time in the morning yo could spend at a small cafe, and in the evening with a relaxing meal and an evening stroll.
Just a heads up about the CDG train station. We recently took the day flight from JFK to CDG and stayed at CDG Sheraton as we landed at 9 pm. We had the Eurostar booked the next day out of gare du nord to amsterdam. When we went down to the train station to buy our ticket mid morning to gare du nord it was a madhouse with a line of at least 150+ people waiting to use the ticket machines and it wasn’t moving fast. We just took a cab. We did not see a way to purchase a ticket online without a navigo card and it was unclear how easy it was to obtain one as the customer service counter was crazy as well. We were sorry we didn’t buy our ticket the night before when we arrived as CDG was a ghost town. Hopefully someone here can shed some light on obtaining the navigo card (easy) at CDG.
You don't want the Navigo Easy, but the Navigo Travel Pass Zone 1-5. You need one each day per person if you are staying at a CDG hotel and want to go into Paris for the day.
